Reset Windows 10: step by step

Depending on the situation, there are 10 different options under Windows, to reset the system. But which one is right in which case?

Today, you need more refined no new or repair installation. Windows 10 can sit back like already to Windows-8 times using simple methods. We will tell you which option in which case will be applied.
If your operating system will still start, Windows 10 offers an option to brush up on restart of the operating system. You find it under start > settings > update and security > restore. If you reset the PC under the entry and then click on the go button go, you have two options to choose: Windows 10 gives you the option to delete everything from the system (personal files, apps, and settings) or to retain its own files. However, your apps and settings are deleted when the former option. Therefore this approach is especially useful, if you want to completely reset your laptop for some reason. If you choose the second option, all of your settings to default values are reset, while the operating system is reinstalled. The personal data are not wiped out. If you choose this path, Windows says 10 also in the next window, which must be removed apps and reinstalled if necessary. The update process may take several minutes. The only drawback of the method: the system updates are also removed. This will update Windows Update Central 10 afterwards again. Tip: Alternatively, if you're mainly to get the updates, which are not properly installed, you can try instead a "forced update» media creation tool. This is not a reset in the proper sense. This Windows 10 with the latest versions is installed simply again on your system. Advantage: The settings will not be reset and your Windows 10 is once again up to date. Depending on the system, the process can take quite a while.
